The Australian Defense White Paper later this year is going to be the document that really outlines where Australia is going for sure.

It was envisaged a 4th Hobbart now with cost overrun seems impossible but would have been logical for replace the 4 Perry, beside one removed end of year.

On what date is first of class Hobart AWD expected to be launched in water ? It should be soon now

The two RAN main bases :

Kuttabul/Sydney 33°51'50.75"S 151°13'30.29"E , homeported : FFG : 4 Perry, 3 Anzac, AA Canberra ( after the second also ), Choules, Tobruk, CS Success, and the 6 MS.


Stirling/Perth 32°13'52.77"S 115°41'48.85"E : 5 Anzac FFG, 6 SSK Collins and OL Sirius.

The AWD Alliance has made considerable progress to prepare the first destroyer Hobart for launch later this year.
