"Assembly" movie tank prop question

This is from the Chinese movie "Assembly" (2007). It represents a M26 tank rather successfully, but for all my digging around, I have not been able to identify the vehicle that was used for the conversion.

Can anyone help?

interesting one, costas.

i dunno what exactly it is, but i think the road wheels and suspension should at least tell us that it's not a post-war MBT chasis.

The number and size of the road wheels (5 large wheels and a small wheel in front and a medium-sized wheel in the back) are reminiscent of those on a T-34 or a T-55.

Too small and also the tanks you mentioned lacked track return rollers. I thought it might be baded on a GSL-131 chassis, based on the thingy that protrudes from the side (dozer blade mount???), but it's in the wrong place for a GSL...

That was suggested in another forum, where I posted the same question and, after exhausting most other options, I am inclined to agree.
