This thread is predominantly for new, inexperienced posters on SD. There will be one in each forum and the questions should relate to the overall topic of the forum in which it is located..

It is for true nubie or greenie questions that we do not want to clutter up our main threads with.

It is also for "off the wall," questions or suggestions, even from more experienced users on SD.

Our forum is very broad ranging and everyone cannot be experts on everything...so in one of the forums, if you have a legitimate question you have been afraid or embarrassed to ask...this is where you can do it.

As moderators see questions that may fit into these categories on other threads...they may well move them here to try and keep our more serious threads as professional as possible.

Be patient. Longer time members will watch these threads as will moderators...but it may take us a whole to get to some of these questions.

    So...with that...carryon!

I was just contemplating whether I should ask for advice on the Real Life thread but I will post here instead!

I have daydreamed for a long time of getting a small camper van (Class B, something like a Ford E-series conversion) but don't know much about them, don't know anyone who owns one to ask about them, didn't even know what they were called until recently.

Does anyone here have experience owning one either currently or in the past who doesn't mind sharing about them?
    - Websites or any source for researching different models, especially used ones
    - Trustworthy websites for finding used ones for sale, or having a large selection for sale
    - Information on maintenance, everyday things of note
    - Good stories, bad stories...

    Thanks in advance!

The Ford E-Series used to be called the Econoline or Club Wagon. They've been around a long time, since like 1961.

Through the years, particular here in the west, they have been a real favorite for people to make conversions into a camper vans.

    Try these sites:

    Sportsmobile

    Colorado Camper Vans

    GTWR

Here's a 4x4 conversion for you to whet your appetite:

This has been discussed in detail on the North Korean Military News Thread.

I know this is a far fetch scenario, but could it possibly be that both China and the US are playing a dangerous game of cyber warfare through hacking each others warehouse that contains explosive substance network to cause it to explode? Because 3 or 4 warehouse explosions in within 2 weeks is no way a coincident IMO. That's just my speculation that's all, I'm not trying to offend anybody.

Too many installations are connected to the internet. First you connect your power plants and power network with the internet, then you wonder whether someone on the other side of the world, or a bored schoolboy in your own street, might find a way to disorganize the whole system. And if it happens you start blaming the North Koreans because they are known to the most proficient in the World. :)
