This has been puzzling me for years. Why do people write "their" as "there" all the times? I can understand "prolly" for "probably", but "there" does not even sound like "their".

There... their... I am not sure how you pronounce it but to me the two are pronounced identically like hear and here or Two and to.
This causes confusion especially to a lazy speller (myself included) will mistake one for the other.
For more on this consult Abbott and Costello's famous dissertation"Who's on first"... :p

Another one is which or Witch. There very close but totally different meanings or meet and meat. Again same pronunciation totally different meaning. And then you have words that have different meanings like mean I can mean something to you, or be mean to you. Slight alteration in the sentence and very big change in context.

I have problem with grammar.such as deciding which is the correct way of saying this,
1/Me and my brother
2/My brother and Me
3/My brother and I
or which is the more likely to happen probably or possibly.
But then I was home schooled until i went to high school for two years at 14.
At home most of my leisure reading consisted of my brothers Green Latern comics and MAD magazine.

It's explained here in detail:

Internet has made these type of questions easier to find out without to much hassle. English is second language for me, and I learned it through talking with people and reading, and never really learned proper grammar. Most of the time if it feels right when spoken aloud it should be ok. Then again for less formal writings sometimes one just don't really care for the more subtle mistakes.

It should be #3.

And "probable" is more likely to happen. For instance, it's possible for me to find an alien pet since there is nothing that says we won't find alien species in the near future. Yet, it is more probable for me to find a cat/dog as a pet. However, strictly speaking, "possibility" has no statistical meaning associated with it, while "probability" involves statistics.

I don't know where to post this pic. But the photographer says he took this pic yesterday at a famous shipyard on the caption from CD.....Could this be the elevator opening? Or just some random civilian ship module?
