    Does anyone else feel the digital camouflage used by the Air Force currently should get adopted by the Marine Corps and perhaps even the Navy?

    The colouration of deeper blues alongside the usage of more greys is probably well suited for beach landings and combat in urban environments.

    I'm inclined to believe that desert camo is a better bet for Beach landings and darker shade of Jungle camo would suffice for Urban warfare.

    There is a dark joke in the USN, what their cammo is perfect for hiding man overboard.

    Cool patterns have their price.

    I'm pretty sure someone is keeping count of the exact number of J-20s produced?
    What I know is that the J20 active production is on hold and currently 20 LRIP examples + 8 prototypes have been produced so far (from Wiki which links to a http://mil.news.sina.com.cn/jssd/2017-06-14/doc-ifyfzfyz3941865.shtml which itself is dated to June 14, 2017).
    So it is safe to assume that around one or two squadrons of J-20s exist? Are there more ? Exact counts ?

    100% correct. That is one of the reason the USN is switching over to this;

    [IMG]

    CTRCS Erin Piazza and PSC Manuel Guiracocha wear the new Navy NWU Type III uniform. (Alan Lessig/Staff)

    Nearly two decades of uniform upheaval will wind down in 2018, as the Navy implements the first year of the two-year rollout plan for putting the new green Navy Working Uniform Type IIIs in every sailor’s seabag.

    The transition officially started Oct. 1, 2017, and will be complete on the same date in 2019, when everyone in the service will have ditched the “blueberries” and will be required to wear the green uniform.

    Recruits started getting the new duds at Great Lakes in October and are now beginning to report to their commands in green.

    What's the size of J-20's main weapon bay?

    I don't think there's a definitive answer, but some estimations based on pictures taken in test phase and Zhuhai implies that the dimensions are roughly 4500*2200*500(or a bit more?) with a decrease in weapon bay height toward the nose, probably to leave space for the intake for engines.

    P.S. these numbers are not 100% accurate, for they are only rough estimates based on photos.

    I was wondering, does anybody have the figures of SAC's production ability? AKA how many jets they can produce per year and what kind?
