Does anyone know how to contact Norinco by email? I tried sending them through those two sites, but it seems Chinese doesn't use email, as they are all blocked
Norinco like any major company blocks random emails and phone calls, because they have better things to do.

Oh, it did not seem like that, as google can not send email to them, it seems like their email system did not work.

Whatever, it seems hard to reach Chinese companies. I tried all the best I can, I think I should give it up, my hope for a Chinese dream is ended. Yeah, this is just nonsense, major companies are rich and have many better things to do.

Norinco's email system works fine, like I said they block random emails, especially those from google. Try sending an email to ExxonMobil and you'll hear nothing back either. In fact Exxon blocks 80% of all emails by default with their security system. I'm sure norinco does something similar is not even more secure.
Once again no respectable Chinese company will receive random emails especially from overseas. Chinese companies (military) also don't invest much in PR or social media because they don't give a damn.

Again, thanks for your information.

Yes, I know most major companies don't care much about random email or chance, but if that is what it is, then let it be. If they lose any good chance at anything, that is not my problem. I already tried my best to reach China. Life is full of obstacles, LOL, maybe I am not fit with the Chinese, that is all.

The most likely explanation for blocking random emails is to avoid spam and phishing emails. Any employee accidentally clicking something in a phishing email will be disastrous to the company. So most companies do block random emails, especially from google, Yahoo etc.

In addition to blocking emails, big companies typically spend a lot of time training their employees how not to open suspicious emails. We have to take mandatory on-line courses each year on internet security, etc. I would imagine a national defense company would most likely do the same. So even if your emails went through, whoever checking those emails would simply assume they were spam and immediately delete them. If you had any kind of attachment, all sorts of alarm bells would start going off and they would delete them without a second look.

That's what we do anyways... I myself delete on average 50-60 emails a day without opening any of them. I treat any Google / Yahoo mail as a warning sign "Ding Ding Ding! Someone unprofessional. Potential spam/phishing..."

So what do you think would happen if you call the White House or the FBI? Do you think the POTUS himself will answer your call?

Every organization has its own rules. There are proper channels to do things. You need to respect them and follow them. If you don't, you won't get in. And when that happens, it will be your loss, not theirs. Keep in mind that you are the one who is initiating the communication. That means you bear the responsibility of observing their custom, not the other way around.

So my suggestion is to find out what the proper channel would be for NORINCO and contact them through that channel. This is especially important for a company that does not do business with the public. Unlike a bank, which has a comprehensive customer service dept to communicate with individual customers, a weapons-making company does not have such dept since they don't do business with individuals. So you need to find out how they communicate with the public.

I've always wondered why the PLA decided to place an Eiffel Tower replica at their Zhurihe complex? Is it for aesthetics or does it actually serve a training purpose?
