This thread is predominantly for new, inexperienced posters on SD. There will be one in each forum and the questions should relate to the overall topic of the forum in which it is located..

It is for true nubie or greenie questions that we do not want to clutter up our main threads with.

It is also for "off the wall," questions or suggestions, even from more experienced users on SD.

Our forum is very broad ranging and everyone cannot be experts on everything...so in one of the forums, if you have a legitimate question you have been afraid or embarrassed to ask...this is where you can do it.

As moderators see questions that may fit into these categories on other threads...they may well move them here to try and keep our more serious threads as professional as possible.

Be patient. Longer time members will watch these threads as will moderators...but it may take us a whole to get to some of these questions.

    So...with that...carryon!

Say .... what is the term, for the guys who arm the fighter-jets on the tarmac? Is it a different term for USN and another for USAF?

    Life is mortal.

    All die.

    Defend yourself or die sooner.

Then again, those who live by the sword, die by the sword. So you have to be careful how you go about defending yourself.

"ordies?" or armorers ?? those who load bombs on bombers/fighter attack are sometimes referred to as "loaders".

very happy to see you quoting the Hebrew Scripture Solarz, this verse refers to those who take their wealth/power by force of arms, not to those who defend themselves or others?? we could cite the certain adventurers who have armed/incited others to armed rebellion for the sake of taking land/territory.

That is referring to people who take up the sword in offensive wars. The reason they die by the sword is that others ultimately take up the sword to defend themselves...as I was stating.

But...in truth...my comments were really more or less given in the same jest as they were elicited.
