I'm sick of hearing about Facebook. I am.

My kids, stepkids, wife , my very few friends all use facebook.. I don't. Why? No need to tell anyone everything I do everyday. Nacho yo' beezwax. And I really don't care what others are doing. I don't.

I understand some employers want to look a prospective employees Facebook accounts. they can look at mine all they want. I don't have one...

The post on some facebook accounts are beyond silly. People showing pictures of their kids going school shopping for the first time. C'mon now..Ya got 12 more shots of that. To me it's just silly..

I just saw a gross old man in WalMart with a big green booger hangin' out of his nose! ewww..gross!

Just plain stupid. People mind your own business. No need to tell everyone of you 200+ so called friends everything you are doing.

If you want to do Facebook.. go right ahead. I'm nearly 59 years old and will continue to mind my on business. You mind yours.:rolleyes:

I agree with you.
and just because i dont have a facebook account im gonna tell you guys here that i did a parachute jump the other day. It was a birthday present from some friends. It wasnt so bad, a couple of forward roles after jumping out of the plane. ya dont get that sense of falling once you reach terminal velocity or whatever they call it.

I opened an account around 2008 I think, mainly because I heard of it from my friends and decides to try it. However I haven't updated it for ages and I only remembered to check it like every few weeks. (Like, oh, I haven't eat at this place for a while, and btw I haven't checked my Facebook)

Lol my friends update information about me more often than I do. If I feel the need, I think there is nothing I can do on Facebook that I could not achieve with another more suitable means or in person.

Facebook is something some people attempt to use to fill the void in their life with more "sounds". Twitter even more so, and I don't have a twitter account or plan to get one.

I opened a facebook account some years ago. Can't remember exactly when. At that time, I had similar feeling as Popeye toward facebook; facebook is for girls. I just open an account for fun, to see what it is, and that is. When more and more friends of mine using facebook, it becomes a daily activity of mine. But I seldom update it, mostly posting my baby's photo.

I made that statement in this forum sometime ago and in another. It's for girls that cannot shut up. It's for busy bodies that need to know everything about a person.It's about parents who kids are in charge of their families posting pictures of everything they do...etc...etc..etc..

Facebook can be useful sometimes. I don't use the feature, but I have friends from Montreal who use it to organize social events. It's also handy for reconnecting with friends you haven't seen in a long time, or just keeping in touch with high school friends who are now scattered all over the world. :)

Nah the new layout was before the timeline thing adopted but I don't like either. I don't like how they don't give you a choice whether you want timeline display or not.
