Austrialia has a massive plan for its navy, knowing that the rest of the Asian nations are building they have not stood still

These three DDG will be very good escorts for the Canberra Class LHD that Aussies are building, they will have a very good surface fleet by 2020

By which time South Korea will likely have 4 Dokdo Class, Japan will have two 22DDH and two Hyuga Class

This is 10 LHDs in the area with India and China focused on fleet carriers, Indonesia and Malaysia will also add some sort of LPD

Pacific is getting a very busy place!

yes it is.. I've said it before as well.. in the decades of 2020 and onwards the skies and waters of the Pacific Rim will have the most serious concentration of naval and air firepower the world has ever seen. The Indian Ocean will get somewhat busy as well but no where close to the Pacific.
