I think for so long "Somalia vs USA" have really been an indisputably apt analogy for confrontations between Chinese and western military technologies - with china being Somalia, and the west being USA - that some Chinese have taken to indulging in the insensible delight of reversing the analogy, as if the act of reversing an analogy would not only makes the reverse analogy true, but also expiates the shame and embarrassment of the original analogy to boot.
