thanks for the kind words AFB.. I'm humbled.

I saw these picture of the Brazilian CV. The Chinese caption translated from google makes no sense..sorry.

Also want to sell to China? Brazil decided to completely abandon the Sao Paulo aircraft carrier. I tried to search to discover how old these photo are but to no avail.

Recently, Brazil decided to abandon the "Sao Paulo" aircraft carrier modernization plan, and its retirement. And St. Paul's aircraft carrier is the predecessor of the French Foch, after France had intended to sell this aircraft to China(??sey what???).

Sad that they abandoned that upgrade. Makes me wonder whether they will build a new one as they had also talked about.

Probably not in the near future.

But I had heard they were talking to the French and DCNS about it.

As it is...they have apparently already sidelined the carrier permanently (the Sao Paulo):

Maybe one day they will build a new one and buy the Sea Gripens for it...but I have a feeling it will be a long time.

I added more F-35Cs to my USS Ronald Reagan, CVN-76, one taking off at the bow:

I have 42 aircraft aboard now, including 15 F-35Cs. Two groups of them, one full stealth for SEAD and another fully loaded to come in after the SEAD attacks.

Will not be long before we see those F-35Cs aboard the US carrier, the UK carriers, and others for real!
