It's in his book, and also on Scramble.

You imagine the post 74 combattants Rgts ! with Bombers + all others in more in general only a Rgt by base very rarely two so many...

But i can provide it with about 3 J-10B Rgt...

    AF Rgts
    J-11/J-11A/Su-27 : 6
    J-11B : 5
    Su-30MKK : 4
    J-10 : 11 surely 1 or 2 in more in this case less J-7/8
    JH-7A : 6
    J-8 last : 4
    J-8 old : 2
    J-7 : 24
    Q-5 : now 6
    H-6 : 6
    Total : 74 combattants units

    I have 2000 - 2100 fighter bombers 2060 exactly

USAF all have exactly 2107, Russia AF ( reliable to 95+ % ) 1270, India 824, and USN Aviation is the 4-5th Air service with 833 ( USMC 384 ) after SK 576, Pakistan 482 but less good also NK 658 but very very old ...

Here's a list I compiled primarily using Scramble, but it has some questions and some new assumptions.

So please feel free to give insight in what you think should be changed in this list. Replacing questionmarks and other nonreliable claims with concrete data would be superb, if possible.

Also, thanks Forbin for your insight. You can go again through this list if you want to.

Addition to above: We are fairly certain there is one J16 active, and it was rumored recently it is 3rd division, 7th regiment. Which would mean its J7g went someplace else, most probably replacing some older J7 (or even that lone, obsolete j8b) regiment? How come that j8b unit keeps being mentioned, it should be super old by now...

so, the total number of old J7 regiments is probably not higher than 14. And actually, it may be as low as 12, if j8b regiment is still active and if the Scramble.nl list was not amended when j10b regiments were added. Was it?

Does anyone have any answers to these questions ?

    @Deino

3rd Division 8th Regiment has been brigadised. Not confirmed about bases but most likely Shanghai Base.

This regiment was one of the first to receive J-10s, starting in 2005. By now, they've already been flying J-10s for 12 years.

Shanghai Base would be interesting, since this Base already has 4 Brigades !

The above list doesn't take into account retirement of some su27.

Also, any corrections to my own list a few posts above? Or answers to questions I posed?

Right but in proportion remains a detail on 2000 fighters... but seems the first lot of Su-27, 20 Su-27SK + 6 Su-27UBK retired, make sense according an enough short service life and delivered in 1992 - 93.

For the rest all is good AF have quite sure at less 400 J-10 and very possible these 50 J-16 delivered or in production...
