You are wrong. Why? If weapon bay is only good of stealth, no non-stealth platform would have one. Beside, benefits of weapon bay has been well established since the first bomber was invented. You arguing weapon bay having no aerodynamic benefit is no different than claiming Earth is flat.

The Challenge
Integrating stealth, speed, and maneuverability became the fundamental challenge of the ATF program. No one had ever attempted such a complex combination before. As the F-117 had shown, stealth affects every aspect of a design. Internal weapon carriage, a must for a stealthy design, increases the cross section of an airplane. Larger cross sections increase supersonic drag and work against supercruise. "A stealthy airplane requires a big weapon bay," explains Hardy. "And the landing gear and the inlet duct want to be in the same place as the weapon bay. You wind up with a guppy that won't go supersonic unless you make it very long with huge engines. Such an approach is a nonstarter because the airplane would be way too expensive."

F-22 can supercruise, F-15 can't. Where is your lack of internal bay advantage? Where is the bit that you claimed to be sticking out on the F-22? No where. Your theory is debunked.

Can you not read? What part of "reducing drag" do you not understand? Let me help you:
  • Weapons can be carried externally, semi-recessed, or internally. Of three, carrying weapons internally has the lowest drag.
  • Carrying weapons internally has benefit of stealth in addition to reduced aerodynamic drag.
  • External stores can contribute 30% of drag.
  • Internal weapon bay allows for reduced excrescence drag and a smaller radar signature.
  • Internal weapon bay also enhance maneuverability.

We have been through this. Su-35 and Eurofighter have lower supercruise speed than F-22, even though F-22 is the one with internal weapon bay. That debunks your theory about internal weapon bay equating to worse aircraft performance.

It only means the F-22 has a stronger engine then the other two.
