Honeywell Aerospace aid in launching the first flight of the Airbus A350 XWB
The Centre for Research and Technology Honeywell Mexicali (MRTC) played an integral role in the first flight of the Airbus A350 XWB to provide pioneering technology for testing of integrated mechanical systems of the aircraft. The innovative research and development by the local engineering team of Mexico is an example of the country's contribution and the deep experience and legacy of Honeywell aerospace.
this innovative new aircraft applies the wide range of services and avionics and mechanics that offer a high level of integration, "said Alfredo Cardenas, Director of Engineering, Honeywell Aerospace." Our joint effort offers customers, pilots and passengers Airbus more efficient, safe and comfortable than ever experience. The first flight is an important milestone that we are celebrating with Airbus, and we expect our relationship to last for long ".

The innovative system integration bench air (AirSIB) played a key role in the development of the A350 program. The AirSIB is the first technology of this type operated by the Centre for Research and Technology Honeywell Aerospace in Mexicali (MRTC). The AirSIB is an integrated test bench for the A350 XWB which allowed Honeywell observe and confirm the interactions between control systems and physical functions of mechanical equipment. This was the first time that major mechanical work packages for air management system are integrated in a single laboratory and run together.

During the last seven years, MRTC engineers worked side by side with the global engineering community Honeywell Aerospace and Airbus in the design, development and testing of the major mechanical systems for the A350 XWB aircraft. The first flight of the Airbus A350 XWB represents a milestone for the Mexican aerospace industry because of the important contributions of talented local engineering industry.

The Centre for Research and Technology Honeywell Aerospace in Mexicali is an advanced technology laboratory located in Mexicali, Mexico, and is equipped for testing integrated into any aircraft in flight or in a conceptual design systems, including propulsion units auxiliary power, electrical systems and other equipment to Consolidated designs. No other supplier of commercial aircraft manufacturers has this range of products with which to work.

The MRTC also defines strategic and operational plans for technology development projects for the aerospace industry in the region. The Center provides engineering solutions for test equipment, fleet upgrades and research and development for the aerospace
market.

The Argentine satellite Arsat 2 will be released in September
Rionegrina state company INVAP already completed construction of satellite communications. It is the second of its kind.
Secretary of Communications of the Nation, Norberto Berner, said the state company INVAP completed construction of satellite ARSAT-2 communications transiting currently the testing period in Bariloche and transferred in August to Guyana, for space launch between mid and last days of September.
This is the second communications satellite whose entire mission from design and manufacturing to launch, placing in orbit and handling- is Argentina, which places the country in the select group of eight nations with this capability.
The entire process is handled by the national space agency ARSAT, the Ministry of Federal Planning, which invests around 250 million dollars in the project, and from its orbit, will be managed by the National Commission on Space Activities (CONAE ), from its Ground Station Benavidez, who for a year ARSAT-1 operates.

Military delegations of the Unasur I Project Advisory Committee in Venezuela discussed the design, production, development and marketing of the South American Training Aircraft. Tuesday takes place in Caracas (Venezuela) The first working meeting of the project primary basic training aircraft of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur). "This project will open new doors in the development of aviation," said Deputy Minister of Planning and Development of Defence, Vice Admiral Remigio Ceballos, in a transmission of Venezolana de Television. He said that "we are organized in industrial clusters, we have advanced many industries such as Cavim (Compania Anonima Venezolana de Industrias Militares) in electronic technology, chemical, petrochemical. In everything necessary for the defense of the nation. " "This ship is a basic training project with sustainability that allows competitiveness with cooperation," said Ceballos. The initiative to create the aircraft was in Buenos Aires, based on the project of training aircraft Argentine IA-73, currently under development by Argentina Aircraft Factory. It is estimated that the aircraft enter final testing in 2016 and a year later could be sold, preferably in the countries of Unasur.

This is the Baalam UAV (Jaguar) by Hydra technologies, a Mexican UAV manufacturer
ACE customer Unmanned Systems Technology International (USTI) displayed the MX-1 UAV at Mexico’s Aerospace Fair 2015 at the main Mexican Air Force base last week and even received a visit from The President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto. The expo hosted many aerospace companies including Boeing, Elbit, Safran, and General Atomics.

The original prototype of the MX-1 was made from plywood, foam, and fiberglass by USTI. In a collaborative effort, USTI partnered with ACE to design a composite airframe structure for the 9-feet-8-inches long, 18-foot wingspan UAV to make it lighter, faster, more durable, and with increased endurance. ACE was accountable for the structural design, tooling and manufacture of the airframe collaborating with USTI who provided the OML and component and payload layout.
