I bet the phones are ringing hot between the Pakis and the PLAAF. If anyone knows how to use a JF-17 to hold an advanced Flanker at a disadvantage, it'd be China.

Don't forget that Pakistanis pilots also have experience fighting against flanker variants during the Shaheen exercises. I believe J-11A/B/BS, Su-27SK, and Su-30MKK have all participated at some point.

I hope those people among the crowd knows that there could some fuel and ammunition left on that crash aircraft that could go off.

World has seen 1, for now.
Others, for both parties, are unverifiable.

Did we get a final word on which aircraft were shot down?

Was it 2 MiG-21s? Now there are reports implying that only one IAF aircraft had been shot down. The rumor of the Su-30MKI being downed seems to be less possible now.
