    Army Reserve soldiers from 36 Canadian Brigade Group during Exercise SCOTIAN TRAVERSE 10, in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality on 10 April 2010.

    Exercise SCOTIAN TRAVERSE 10 (Ex ST 10) is an annual collective training exercise involving Army Reserve units from 36 Canadian Brigade Group. More than 400 military personnel from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island participated in the exercise held in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) from April 9 to 11, 2010. Ex ST 10 is designed to prepare Army Reserve personnel for possible future operations at home and abroad.

    Private Ravi Pawar and Corporal Daniel Luxford from the 1st Mentoring Task Force, provided security at a recent Shura in the Southern Baluchi Valley Region that was a follow-up to key leadership meetings held during Operation Jenub Fayda (Southern Advantage).

    Jenub Fayda (Southern Advantage) was a major combined ANA and MTF1 security operation that was designed to facilitate Afghan government development opportunities in liaison with the local community. The operation, conducted in April 2010, helped set the conditions for enhanced development with a focus on education, health and works.

    Looks like the Algerians got the MKI variant (canards). I am wondering if the Su-30 MKA is also capable of thrust vectoring.
