I have been Summoned!
Lets see... Brand new For sure as there are still a number in the old Blotch Woodlands... Colors seem a bit on the bright side and not as muted as some. A bit busy I think they should Lower the Blacks and up the brown's and greens... Helmets Should have a night vision adapter standard but that's more off topic. Blouse looks too have shoulder pockets and Slanted chest ones. defiantly based on USMC digi's seems Pretty Fair. All and all functional although Improvable.

Re: World Armed Forces Pictures Thread

TerraN_EmpirE, Thank you. When I saw those diggys..I said wow! The AFRP broke those uniforms out for this operation more than likely. They want to look sharp for the USN/USMC team.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of the Philippines always look sharp in uniform. Always. They may be lacking in some areas but make up for in in shear determination and military bearing.

Re: World Armed Forces Pictures Thread

Well I've seen ghilly suits like that before, but never on parade, and those seem...somewhat less useful in terms of camoflauge especially in Iran. Furthermore, ghilly suits are for snipers and those guys had AKs.

Ahmadinejad must get very tired of sitting through so many military parades. It seems like they are always having military parades in Iran.

Well the ghilly suit has been in use by American snipers since at least Vietnam, and by the British for longer. However it would be of less use in Middle Eastern environments as combat there would be more likely to take place either in desert and arid areas without much plant life or urban areas, and ghilly suits are liability in both of those places. And those guys have AKs anyway; ghillys would just be silly on your average infantry platoon.
