    11th Marines flex artillery muscle with entire regiment

    The 11th Marine Regiment, a regiment comprised of four artillery battalions and a headquarters battalion, hosted a large-scale combined-arms training evolution here, Sept. 9-15, 2012, dubbed Fall Fire Exercise. The exercise aimed to develop and sustain 11th Marine Regiment’s ability to plan and execute artillery fires. Specifically, the artillery battalions trained in all aspects in fire support coordination, maneuvering, counter firing and supporting regimental command and control.

    Pics One and two that is not a hummvee it's a Oshkosh M-ATV a all terrain MRAP, a derivitive is in the JLTV program call the L-ATV

    Unless the Army has added something I think there was a typo As the only M32 I know is in the Marines fires 6 shots of 40mm grenade rounds.

    It's a typo should be an M2 Bradley Fighting vehicle.

    U.S. Army soldiers, from 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, "Gimlets" during a live fire exercise at the Pohakuloa Training Area, on Hawaii's Big Island. Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, are conducting a month-long exercise which is focused on platoon level collective training with enabler integration. The training will culminate in a combined arms live fire exercise later this month.

    first all these Troops are in UPC which with out eaven reading the caption tells me they are in non Combat zones. Caption tells us this is one of the Islands of Hawaii.
    pic two note the M249 in the fore front it has a Anpeq15 on the side and A M4 style stock. this is not the same stock as a M4 obviously as It would not fit. Wha? No optic?
