    Today is Memorial Day in the US. Let us honor those that paid the ultimate price for liberty.

Richard Phillips, center-right, with the Admiral Arleigh Burke Leadership Award, at the Westin Arlington Gateway. Phillips was the master of the container ship MV Maersk Alabama when Somali pirates hijacked it on April 8, 2009. Concerned for his crew, Capt. Phillips offered himself up to the pirates as a hostage in return for their release.
