Good to have this exchange visit by Senior Military Officers. There will hopefully be some understanding of each country intent on military & geo-political matters.

Only as long as people allow themselves to be opened to new ideas, therefore also depends how radical they are willing to accept ideas that are different from what they perceive previously.

Looks like this uncle Sam visits every corner of Chinese military facilities. Just being curious; is it safe to let a foreign Admiral to visit your military equipment and facilities, I mean aren't they afraid of secret leaks?

I think PLA just wanted to prove to Mullen the remarks made by a PLA general during his visit to the States: PLA's weapons are 20 years behind that of the US armed force.

They're just returning the gesture of when PLA officials go to the US. That use to be complained about.

^^ that would be ADM. Mullen to you. ADM Mullen has served the US Navy faithfully and continually since 1968.

It is reasonable to assume that anything and everything that even remotely touches the "sensitive" or "secret" realm will be covered up or put away. All the things that are shown to the Adm. are already well known by US intelligence.

It is just a personal touch.
