I used to criticize the Type-95 for lack of durability, but maybe i was wrong, if it can perform well in the battlefield, and maintain durability even in tough conditions like the dessert. Maybe it is a worthy successor to the Type-56 after all

On the first photo it realy looks like a FAMAS, but the barrel is more longer, the "special forces" version is closer in appearance than the FAMAS.

Is there a sniper version for this Rifle ?

well, there is the type 88 sniper rifle. It also have a bullpop design to it.

If the type-95 above can stand that kind desert terrian. Its durability is unquestioned. Durability and better accuratecy will make this new 5.8mm family weapon deadly in the future. type 88 should have the same durability. Another thing, one of my french friend fired a FAMAS before. and told me the recoil suck. lets just hope chinese improved this problem.

Looking ahead, the type 95 might not get that much action. Unless something happens in the next 10-30 years, then the type 95 will probably be replaced by something better.

Just out of interest how well can it fire, like accuracy wise, is it good for like 550km, i don't know much about physics but i just assume all the crap in the desert might slow the bullet down.

You don't actually see it firing. For all we know they're just running around pointing their guns without firing a shot, not really testing the robustness of the gun.

I think you mean meters and not km, hehe.

Looking at the photos, I see them in poses but not actual firing exercises.

That would be so silly in my opinion, and yeah i meant meters km what was a i on that day, anyways what woudl seriously be the point if they never actually test the function of the gun in the desert? To see how it looks all dirty in the desert?
