Beijing Military Area Command conducts drill for emergency

If my memory serves me correctly, those amphibious tanks were based off designs from the 60s. Even Chinese critics themselves don't say good things about it. I personally believe they're useless in the Taiwan theater. It's better to develop something newer from a clean slate, something as capable as the cancelled American expeditionary vehicle. This tank is super slow and easy to topple over, the worst is that isn't can barely fire its guns in rough weather, fearing of toppling over.

It is actually the ZBD2000 produced since 2006, not the Type 63 you mentioned.

Holy cow...now I see it! Damn I bet he could do PT (physical training) like a mad dog. He's got to be no taller than 5'-0", but one tough SOB.

No no,there just be a roadside ditch.
... I think the guy walking on the ditch, it made his height looks shorter than other members on the road.

True, but look at where his boots is at compare to the rest of the troops? Who, knows, but it's quite fun to look at though.

How useful are these "on-the-move" training? I thought snipers have to move as slow as possible and try to conceal themselves.

Remember the PLA doctrin is not the same as Standard nato or US the Rifles they are using in these pics are based on the SVD a weapon often confused for a dedicated sniper weapon but sitting in the designated marksmen class, they move with the squad in the assault. so moving well being on target is a need.
