I thought it says "PLA" in the title...

By the way, you cannot compare communism with democracy. It's apple vs. orange. The opposite of communism is capitalism. In fact, when the CCP and the Nationalists were at each other's throat, neither had democracy. The Nationalists had a completely authoritarian system. And the leader of the Nationalist who ruled Taiwan for 30 years was a well-known dictator.

With regard to a fight against communism, I think we already know the answer. Communism lost! Mainland China is no longer communist. They gave that up long time ago.

I can't agree with all your idea; at least, the flag is still "red", single party system still applied, freedom of speed is not so allowed. Those are symbols of authoritarian system. China is much free than other communist countries left in the world.

Thanks for latest pics Escobar, keep it coming.

On another note these military mobile transport vehicle are still using too much fuel (diesel). Is there a hybrid engine for them anywhere around the world? I figure that would be an important asset (oil) for any military strategic planners, remember what happened to the German tank forces in the Battle of the Bulge?

I am not sure if you are responding to my post. However, communism is not essential for lack of freedom. You can have a capitalistic system that also has one-party system and limited freedom. Example? How about Saudi? How about Singapore? Neither is communist. Yet both have strict authoritarian gov'nt and almost borderline dictatorship. Hitler hated communism, but had no problem being a dictator himself. Iraq was definitely not communism during Saddam era, yet, no one, for a second, thought he was a leader of democracy. In fact, people in Saudi and old Iraq enjoyed much less freedom than the so-called "communist" china. So communism and democcracy are two independent entities.

    24 x PCZ-45 ALV
    1 x W-653/Type-653 ARV

    Look like unit prices are rising. with the package of (27 + 27 + 1 + 4) in 1998 = 187m while the package of (24 + 24 + 1 + 4) in 2001 = 200m.

Great pics escobar! Keep it coming.

I kinda missed the old round and curve shape tank turret like the Soviet style T-72s. Every nation that can make tanks nowadays go with the more boxy M1-A1 style look.
