This is a discussion on PLA Photos within the World Military Pictures forums, part of the World Strategic Defence Area category; ...
The PLA now has stepped into a new period, they have enough ability to defend our motherland's integrity intact.And they will never threat any friendly nation, our goal is to set up a peaceful world since we all love peace and hate war.
The female PLA soldiers, they devote all their best time and passion to the country.In my eyes,they are doubtlessly the most beautiful angels in the world.
The JieFang shoes, in the past 50 years,the Chinese government has adopted this kind of shoes as one of the chief accouterments for the PLA soldiers.In december 2002, the Chinese government terminated their duty.
Every pair of shoes cost 20 yuan Renmingbi, in worth of about 2.5 US dollars.
This picture was captured in CCTV7 news.When I first saw this, I was really shocked, I just can not image how this truck could go throught this narrow way. In the Tibet province, in fact, this is the only way connectd the outside between the Tibetan military base, and without enough helicopters,the PLA have to deliever the daily goods and armament only by this way,also because of this,many young soldiers lose their lives here.
I almost forget to say my English is not so good
Moved to proper forum.

Well, we also have the Alpes in Europe, and there are small paths (tracks);
in history the german Bundeswehr used mules to transport
the austrian and swiss army did have small off-road transport vehicles, called "Pinzgauer"
(more pix and video at http://www.northeastoffroad.com/
I'll post it so intensive, because I 've heard roumors, that someone in sichuan-province is intersted to produce this vehicle there. The cars would be very usefull there and in mountained aereas with small ways.

Pictures like that are good for propaganda or arguments during drinking games, but make little difference when supplies are running low.
