Hey, Popeye, you'd better not jinx it! Otherwise you might wake up one morning to see a Sea Dart coming towards your bedroom window.![]()
Though I am sorry to hear about the USS Antonio. Can the DoD force the contractors to fix the work for not too much more money, or did they get someone else to sort it out?

I don't think the USN can do more than gripe. They did take delivery of the ship and the ship passed sea trails...Though I am sorry to hear about the USS Antonio. Can the DoD force the contractors to fix the work for not too much more money, or did they get someone else to sort it out?![]()

Oh, so they can't claim because the ship is now having trouble? I don't know how it works with military vessels, but in the UK any work/product has to last a reasonable amount of time and be carried out with all necessary skill and care. You can't avoid that by having any disclaimers or refusal of warranty.
Thanks for the link.

Reguarding the LPD-17. I'm sure there are warranty issues that the builder and sub-contractors will take care of..

She really is a handsome ship. I honestly can't remember the last time I thought that about a warship in the last few years.
