i really hope they clean up the smog again before the parade, you can hardly see the planes in that air.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the photo. That was a huge photo of Sun front and center under the People's monument, where, usually, no photo of any sort would be. You think this is a conscious effort to extend a hand to Taiwan or Nationalists in Taiwan?

The portrait of Dr. Sun has always been front and center in all of the PLA's parades, he is given the title of "Father of Modern China" !

CCTV will broadcast for about 44 hours, it will start 2009/09/30 night until 2009/10/02, Beijing time

anyone know if pheonix TV will be broadcasting this stuff live as well?

Anyone know if they will have a DVD about the whole thing like the Olympics?

first of all i can speak Chinese so i dont have to watch the english channel, secondly i prefer watching a parade on a 50'' tv rather than a computer screen....
so pheonix TV is better +D
