U.S.A.F. in Beijing - GW Bush's air fleet

USAF C-5A, C-17 and C-130 flew the president's helicopter and other equipment to Beijing Capital Airport before the president's official visit to the country

    A C-20 also arrived

The C-5 unloading the VH-60N White Hawk president helicopter. It will be replaced by US-101 in the future

You don't get to see the president's helicopter so close everyday

The VH-60N being assembled in a hanger in Beijing Airport. The question is: where is the helicopter going to fly to if the president does need to be evacuated? all the way back to the US?

Moment before the president's Air Force One arrives, the airport is under very tight security. The two guys standing by the car with rifles are probably from special police forces, while the guy standing further away is from the PAP, possibly the guard corps.

Air Force One landed at Beijing Capital Airport

AF1 being towed to the parking position

    Mr and Mrs Bush

Excellent photographic essay! I appalud you for finding and posting those pics.

You asked about Pres Bush helo. It generally accompanies him where ever he goes. It's like his taxi. Takes him on short trips.

The Presidents helo is manned by a USMC flight crew. They are from HMX-1 at Andrews AFB. Washington DC.
