    Dayum!!!! If I'm Hollywood I'd be piss! I seriously doubt the chinese paid those guys royalties LOL
    I see clips taken from the Terminator franchise and a few scenes from The Hunt for Red October!

    those are not new photos, they are the new submarine type + the 6th Yuan. They've been there since October.

    Even I see that they are very different. The one behind is larger and has a thicker fin or sail. Its hydrofoils are fitted to the hull in front of the fin, while the one in front has its hydrofoils on the fin.

    Big isn't it? The Qing class on the left is enormous for an SSK

    Qing class ??? ... first time I heard .... is it a new class of improved Yuan ?

    The middle and right subs are newly launched improved Yuan class. The one on the right is the Qing. Comparatively it is much larger than the already sizable 4200 ton improved Yuans. The tower alone is at least twice as large and even partially submerged it is longer than the Yuan fully afloat. It is massive.

    wowww thanks for the info, would Qing be around 5,000 ton ? ... would it be fully AIP or perhaps next generation small nuclear powered sub

    As far as I know it is a SSK. And I think it would be around 6000 tons. Its dimensions certainly reflect that more. And Chinese nuclear subs get bigger every time not smaller.
