trumpheter about to release D-44 85mm gun,I am wondering if the gun ever encounter by the US or south vietnamese army during the vietnam war or arab israel conflict?
But I do saw of picture of khmer rouge using chinese supplied D-44 85mm gun during cambodia-vietnamese war.

This article ( JAN_FEB_1977_PAGES_42-47.PDF from Fires Center of Excellence | Fort Sill, Okla. ) describes fighting in the North of South Vietnam in 1971-2 in which this gun was used. The writer is clear that the ARVN was quite incompetent in handling its artillery while its opponent was quite skillful. He doesn't reach the obvious conclusion that ARVN wasn't really interested in defending the Saigon regime.

while there's is no inidcation that US army m-48 or m-4 nor israel centurion or M-48 being engage by D-44 85mm ATG . but during the first few day 1973 arab israel war, egyptian army claim that israeli tank was knock out by 100mm anti tank gun.
during the conflict between moldavia and ethnic russian troop in 1992, 2 moldavian T-64 was either damage or destroyed by 100mm T-12 ATG. in desert storm, iraqi's 100mm SB-atg able to damaged bradley AFV.score direct hit on the rear sprocket.
