As we all know there has been a recent plethora of fake photographs, some of which very competently done, on Chinese military forums. Although they are most likely the work of CG enthusiasts "trolling" on forums has any one considered the possibility that this is a part of a greater PLA disinformation campaign to throw off Western intelligence? News from Chinese forums take days to appear on main stream Western military forums/blogs and may throw off intelligence gathering agents seeking to gain information on the internet.
The TRUTH what we are hiding:
We have made puppets across the world.
Making them to mess up around.
While we secretly building up our invasion force.
To deploy Transformers which aided our RULE of this tiny planet for the last couple millenaries.
And now, siegecrossbow , you DARE TO blow off this secret when we are not ready yet???
We are gonna drown you with cheap tea!
Edit:
Man, is this member's club or situation room? Cheers man!

Red Sword has never made so much sense in so few words. EVER. I just might be in shock.
Whaaat the heck? When did I imply that a disinformation campaign is a bad thing? Nations use it all the time. You are making ridiculous accusations redsword.
Oh the apologize is all mine. Till now I just try to play some words, but didn't thought it would be seriously taken at first place.
OK let's make it black and white: I don't think people in Chinese forum with the same spirits I just now demostrated, are actually some undercover agents works for a greater plan.
Such a disinformation campaign is either using small things to put the opposition occasionally off their bat or a huge complex campaign using a pretty large amount of resources. The second only makes sense if done with a specific purpose and for a short time.
We're not seeing the second and I'm probably incapable of recognizing the first.
Western? Not at all. I think sarcastic humor is universal..
Anyways, I think a disinformation campaign of the type Mace mentions would be beyond our ability to discern, so I'm not sure I would even bother trying to figure it out. It's probably better to just keep approaching things like we've always done. With a healthy dose of skepticism, and logic.
Just reminds me of the Dreyfus affair, perhaps the most famous disinformation campaign that ruined this unfortunate man or has he said: "My affair is quite complex and I think only future generations will fully understand it."
