Unless there was badminton and pistol/archery on skates and table tennis/weight lifting/martial arts, on ice, I doubt to many South East Asians are interested in the Winter Olympics

Figure Skating? China's fielding a decent team this year.

China's gold medal intentions are in figure skating, speed skating, free-style skiing, snowboarding and woman's curling, lets see if they can better the 11 medals they won in Turin in 2006. Canada as a host nation for three Olympic games has never won a gold medal, lets see if their dry spell will end ?

These games are already in trouble, the weather has been warm and raining for the past two weeks and there is no snow on Cypress mountain, the snow had be airlifted in by helicopter a bucket at a time.

Venues are already on the auction block two weeks before the games even started since the company running these games had no money to pay the contractors.

Canada is gonna beat USA in hockey to avenge the humiliation at the world junior championship. watch out USA, dont get too cocky just yet.

Canada has always been better at hockey than the US. sure the US is good at a lot of things but hockey is the only thing that matters to Canadians.

Hmmm... Yahoo's list says otherwise. It says Canada has won 38 Gold medals total.

Good to see the Chinese pair and probably the sentimental favourites winning the figure skating. I preferred the pair that came second, but thats subjective judging for you.
