Heres just an idea. It is said, that the only country that probobly ever could have conquered and defeated the US was Japan back in the good old 1940's, but they chose not to, and only destroyed there pacific navy. Bad move Japan

Anyway, could a war against the US ever be "won" In the cold war the Soviets tried but backed off while facing MAD(Mutually assured destruction) It is said that because of this it is impossible, but i do not belive so. America can be won, and even conquered! It will just be the greatest strategic challenge in history, by i belive it can be accomplished(like with for instanche Troy )The question only is HOW???

One thing i was thinking was collapsing there economy. Then you would have to have many modern "quislings" in American soil ready to act. Americas weak spot is there southern border, but China cannot send troops to mexico without being spotet. So, this is going to be a little trickier, but i still think it can be done! If a couple of wackos who could hardly fly a plain armed with some rusty knives and guns both from some gunshow could take out the PENTAGON, then i really dont think it cant be that hard! You just have to be WERY creative thats all

You cannot collapse the US economy without collapsing the world economy.

As of today, US military cannot be defeated in an open conflict. It has both qualitative and quantitative edge.

The US homeland is separated by 2 major oceans and flanked by 2 friendly countries. It's forward deployed forces are designed to fight a war in the territory of the enemy.

So any build up in Mexico will be crushed because of the lack of reinforcement, hostile populations (mexicans love the US), the fact that the US is very big to conquer.

One more thing, Japan does not come close to even defeating the US in world war II. The US was able to stale mate it using only 20 percent of its resources (the other 80 percent went to Europe).

and, did henry say japanese COULD defeat US? do you really ...believe so?
i once read an article about chinese on HMS Prince of Wales, the article wrote about the last days of HMS Prince of Wales, which belonged to the fleet Z at the Pacific, which was sunk by the japanese. the british officer said "the japanese had been fighting with china for the last 7 years(may not remember correctly), and they still haven't won."
so...how many troops of the Great Japanese Empiral Army were trapped in china by the "ocean of People's warfare", and you still think they could defeat US?

I could not pass up this most recent post.

First off read Idont's post. It is 100% correct. Also you have to remember. Ever state in the US has Army/Air National Guard forces that can be activated instanly. I don't know where you live but Americans own millions of fire arms. Do not under estimate the American ablity to fight back an invading force.

Japan could have never defeated the US in WW 2. They did not have the resourses to do so. Not enough manpower, raw materials, quality equipment or the ablity to replace that equipment. There policy of not rotating troops from combat proved deadly.

You really need to think about & research what you want to post before you start a new thread. I'm sure your post are being observed by the moderators.

when you are the soviets and you move around the streets of US, the US civilians will shoot at you with the single shot pistol, which is so true.....as you are in russia, they civilians won't do anything but running around.

If this would have been called "how to defeat finland" i would have deleted it right away and banned that member permanetly. As a mod i have to keep my feelings inside, but also act fairly. This is Chinese related military forum but that doesen't mean we allow brashing of chinese possiple adversors not even towards USA althoug many of our members have strong feelings against it. We also have many members (actually propaply the majority) living and loving in USA so it must be offensive towards them, exspecially those who are older. This post is just warmongering and not constructive in any ways so it will be closed.
