Never done this before, but as a kid I've seen my late grandfather does it whenever he get's a pretty bad cold or fever. After that, he drank some traditional Chinese medicine (some cup of dark brown hot stuff) with it. I sample a teaspoon of it and nearly gag. My grandfather laughed at my reaction. It tastes very, very, bitter, like someone melted an entire bottle of aspirin pills and put into one cup.

QINGDAO - China's most sophisticated research vessel - named Kexue, or Science - was delivered to its operator on Saturday in Qingdao, a port city in eastern Shandong province. The 87.5-million-US dollar ship, manufactured by the Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Co, Ltd. based in Hubei province, was handed over to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS).

Weighing 4,711 tons, the vessel is 99.8 meters long and 17.8 meters wide. With a cruising capacity of 15,000 nautical miles and a top speed of 15 knots, it can travel with 80 members for 60 days.

Kexue features better stability and a larger laboratory space as well as having more manoeuvrabilty in comparison with other Chinese research vessels, said Sun Song, director of the IOCAS. He added that the vessel is among the world's most advanced research ships.

Capable of global voyages and all-day observations, the ship is seen as a moving laboratory on the sea.

It will serve as one of the key vessels for the country's oceanographic studies for the next 10 to 20 years, with world-leading facilities for scientific detection and experiments, Sun said.

Kexue is designed to conduct a wide range of tasks, such as water body detection, atmospheric exploration, deep-sea environment exploration and remote sensing information verification.

The construction of the ship began in 2010 and launched in November last year for trials.

I'm not a big fan of Moon cakes (okay tasting), but my mom loves them. Quite pricey if you ask me, even if you buy them in Houston's Chinatown.

A policeman gestures in front of a Home Depot store, after its Chinese employee's reported the store had shut down without notifying them in advance, in Zhengzhou, Henan province, September 14, 2012. When Wal-Mart Stores Inc drew a rush of 80,000 shoppers on the opening day of its first China supercentre in 1996, the world's most populous country looked like easy pickings for the top global retailers. Flash forward to 2012 and China has been a tougher market than expected. Overseas names from Britain's Tesco Plc to Germany's Metro AG are slowing their Chinese expansion, while Hong Kong-listed Sun Art Retail Group Ltd has overtaken Wal-Mart as the country's top hypermarket chain. The move last month by U.S. home improvement chain Home Depot Inc to close its big box stores inChina served up the latest evidence of foreign retailers' struggle with a crowded market, slowing economy and tough competition in a country that was once their best hope for growth.

China issued a toll-free road policy in August, allowing passenger cars with seven seats or less to travel for free on toll roads during major holidays.
I dont know of any passenger cars with seven seats. Maybe they mean carrying capacity. Even then thats a bit strange because most passenger cars are built for five people.
