the "Army" Tag looks wrong I think this is a PS. not a very good one on the army tag.

I remember in China, they find army clothes fashionable, so you even see workers and garbage men wearing the old Chinese woodland walking around. If people are stupid enough like those in that Indian forum to believe camo = military personnel, then there will be a sudden surge of another million or 2 million of PLA or PAP reserves all over the streets...or perhaps they're "Commie Big Brother" agents posing as civies trying to keep the streets safe with bad fashion?

Had to laugh at the comments from the Indian guy on the lines of "FAILED" to reverse engineer ".

It takes a little more skill to "reverse engineer" than pay 4x as much as out of the box

I don't think they are PS or fake. I think they are real pictures BUT I don't think they are actual PLA officers or soldiers either. Maybe just some civilians wearing US Army surplus uniforms or some sort of press conference where they are wearing US Army uniforms on purpose for whatever reasons.

Now read the comments on the page, and you'll see how this forum is much more professional than the other ones.

The guys are City officials from the city of Xiaoyi (Xiaoyi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), they can see the same guys here in business causal (link). What I guessing is since they are going to an outdoor training event, they just brought some military looking cloth without knowing that they are.

Doesn't china produce most Us uniforms and flags?

I recall I could buy high quality nazi uniforms at markets when I was out in the country. This is just fashion.

I just love how some people can get all worked up OVER what some others are wearing. It's pathetic they're so political. Sometimes it's just clothes ffs, so they should just drop the issues. Of course I'm referring to those in that forum and other places where people get worked up over minor crap and details

LOL, apparently on the internet, if a Chinese person is wearing army fatigues with a "US Army" tag on it, they must be top PLA officials.

This is actually a good case study of propaganda. Someone posts a completely unsubstantiated claim (i.e. "top PLA officials"), and because there are pictures accompanying it (which does not substantiate the claim in any way), many people accept the claim without challenge.

You know tons of Chinese uniform manufacturing companies also make camo uniforms for the actual military and sales to abroad to other militaries, civilian security agencies and guys on the internet that just love military gear(cosplayers). For all we know this may have been a brilliant marketing ploy to get product exposure and buzz by leaking these pics to military forums. Has anyone translated the seating plackets?

Everybody is talking about China being a threat to the peace of universe, talking about every Chinese (at least every public officials) are prepared to engaging military reserve in time of crisis.

This, this whole "no one finds wrong" incident, actually shows how UNPREPARED ordinary Chinese, best of all, public officials, are.

They don't even have any idea, how the conqueror of universe, the People's Liberation Army, looks like. They grab a fashin shirt that looks like army uniform for any formal events. They evidently put no heart on "heed the call to arms" for China's military aggression.
