    Hi,

High Tech equipment would certainly made things much more convenient. During light infantry warfare - training, experience and the skills of individual infantryman and them moving as a group is the primary of winning confrontation. However if high tech toys such as UCAV, UGV, wireless linkage to support units (attack copters, gunships, artilleries, ground attack aircrafts,)would certainly act as force multipliers and ensuring victories against enemy more achievable.

Shock Operation would also require more on skills and experience, but with high tech toys, it will make the operation easier to win and achieved. Imagine enemy not knowing what dropped on them and with high tech equipment, infantry can actually pinpoint on opposition force more quickly, organise aerial strike, then commandoes to moved in quickly to take over or totally destroy that place or target.

    Thanks.

Personally I don't think the PLA believes anymore on a purely human oriented warfare and such a request by the first post is now almost two decades late. Given the fact that PLA's literature in describing their own exercises are full of words like joint operation, information, digitization, networking and mechanization.
