Looks more like a twin truck-mounted 120mm mortar, sort of a Chinese (?) AMOS.
This is a discussion on can anyone ID this? within the Army forums, part of the China Defense & Military category; Looks like anti-aircraft artillery with really large calibers......

Yeah. That is my first impression, too. Looks like AMOS.

now you mentioned it, it does look like a Chinese rip-off of the AMOS mortar system. Looks like a rough prototype design because I doubt the final product would be mounted on a truck like that
This is just a guess but I saw those pictures show up towards the end of the Olympics. There's been a lot of stories about China seeding clouds to control the weather for the games. Maybe these were the guns used to fire the shells to seed the clouds.
How do we know that the mystery vechicles are chinese?
If it a weather control device, why they paint in camo colors? I see some wireing on the bottom of the tubes.
The caliber seems a bit wrong for cloud seeding. I think most cloud seeding artillery is under 100mm, while those look like 120mm mortars at a rough glance.
Because weather modifying artillery belong to PAP.
Considering that official report that more than one thousand rockets were fired to disperse clouds in Beijing then this should be just such a gun system.
Makes no sense to be anything else as the system lacks basic firing control apparatus. Where is the elevation control?
Do you notice one thing that the truck should have very low cross country ability. So I thing the system is not designed for battle field service.

Yes, it must be a test rig.
Sirens on a military vehicle? No insignia visible. Enlarged barrel could be for sound reduction.
You brought up a very good point. Looking at the initials of the Licence Plate which reads "军C" or "Military C" indicates the vhecile belongs to the General Logistics Department. However, since the licence plate is on the truck and not the trailer, it could mean that the cab belongs to the General Logistics Department.
I found here a link with the pictures.
