The FC-1 page has the old models. There are new models of the FC-1 that show an increased wing span similar to that of the F-18 Superhornet. I think that the current model should be replaced.

The pictures arent all of the latest ones, so you might as well upgrade them.

Leave a pic or two there of the earlier project, that should show the improvements China made

I was actually waiting for the image of 04 ptototype to emerge so that I can update it in one go. personally I do not like to use photos of model unless they are highly accurate

I still do not understand why there is a need for the FC-1. What requirement will this fighter fill? What new capabilities can it offer to the PLAAF? It has the same role as the J-10, so why does the PLAAF need the FC-1 and the J-10? The J-10 is only slightly more expensive, and has better range, speed, radar, and engines.

That's almsot a $1million question: do you want a Chinese press in English or a foreign one?

The Chinese press normally has very reliable source of information but they rarely reveal anything due to the tight control of the government.

The foreign press have poor source of information so most of time they are only speculating.

The reason that the update of the web pages is often behind the actual progress is becuase I was waiting for a reliable confirmation.

The photo psoted by MIGLeader is a full-scale mockup of the early design.
