We know that this is an old design and maybe not in use any longer. But can you give some info of the design or why it is ineffective in true combat, etc...

yes i can give you that information: it was subject to corrosion, it could not land in anything other then 3 foot and under waves and that was being generous. those are the main reasons none was ever made beyond this one and the prototype. also the expense of building one and maintaing it was astronomical as well. hope this answer some of your questions for you.
