Everyday..if I remember, I will post UP TO DATE MILITARY/POLICE/FIRE PICTURES involved in NEWS EVENTS. Entertainment, Sports and oddball news are Ok.
Not old PIX but new ones!!!!.All members are welcome to make a contribution..And please add a discription to your posted pictures...
Do not use direct links from US DoD web sites to post pictures...use a good photo hosting site.
I will post 5-7 pix daily..And you may also.:) No mangled bodies please!!!!..No nudity or bikini pics...

I posted this picture of a checkpoint for pilgrims in Karbala because the Iraqi Army vehicle in the background looks like it has some actual protection, as opposed to the pick up trucks etc. that they usually use.

Webby says we may post some military pics in this thread. Let's keep it to news related pics, entertainment, sports etc..Finns pic is fine..
As an example I should delete my Tiawan military pic and the Picture of the USS Annapolis...
Let's see..News related military/police/fire events are OK...Entertainment and oddball news are Ok..So are sports..
However, I will be very lenient on the postings in this thread as we want to keep it alive!
Oh yea..no nudity, bikinis etc..you know what I mean...

I can see them just fine...Right click on the little red x. a box will appear. Click on properties. That will give you the URL of the picture. Copy and paste that in your browser. Paste it in your address bar...If you have any sort of filtering such as "Safe Eyes" or "Net Nanny" that may inhibit you from seeing the pictures.

Development of Talisman M, the BAE Systems unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), is surging ahead following its inaugural sea trials in August. This new Talisman variant, designed specifically for mine clearance operations, undertook its first sea trials at the Royal Navy’s Defence Diving School on Horsea Island, Portsmouth.
The Talisman trials were a key milestone in the UUV's development programme, enabling the project team to trial the integration of the various payloads, from the navigation and sonar equipment to the mine neutraliser – the BAE Systems Archerfish system.
Development trials continue, with the aim of conducting a series of customer demonstrations in the US before the end of the year.

Iran on Saturday exhibited new home-made warfare equipment at a military parade in Tehran marking the Iraqi invasion in 1980, which led to an eight-year war (1980-1988). For the first time Iran publicly showed its two new homemade fighter jets, dubbed Saeqeh (Thunder), which were successfully tested Thursday. The new planes are touted as similar to the US F-5 and F-18 fighters. Also exhibited was the upgraded version of the Shahab-3 medium-range missiles which have a range between 1,300 and 1,800 kilometres and are in the hands of the paramilitary revolutionary guards.
