Available online at http://www.haodoo.net/?M=hhd&P=B7-a (The book is in Chinese so sorry for those who don't read Chinese).

Just read it over the weekend and really liked it. It's focused on a Taiwanese SSK (the first of the 8 currently being considered for purchase) sent out for a "special" mission when the mainland threatens Taiwan with unification. Kind of a mix with The Hunt for Red October and Crimson Tide, but with "Taiwanese character". Note that the author was the Deputy CO of first of class Cheng Kung frigates (ROCS Chengkung) and the CO of another (ROCS Changchien), and the book gives rare insights into the ROC Navy. In my opinion the book surpasses The Hunt for Red October in both technical detail and character development. The political, ethical, or even psychological aspect is also very interesting.

Would like to see other people's comments.

Not as I know of, and there's no mentioning of an English version on the author's website (which is also in Chinese). :(

It's funny that the skipper admitted in an essay about his experience with English, that even though he got a master's degree in Boston University and had to work with a dozen ex-USN for two years during the initial trainings of Cheng-Kung (O.F.P copy), he's still not very comfortable with his English, and in particular considers his written English to be rather crappy.
