Hi Folks
I want to recommend an excellent miniseries now with English subtitles:
The Genghis Khan TV series (Chinggis Khaan in mongolian)
30 episodes in 10 dvds . available in www.yesasia.com; or even in ebay.
I am not Chinese, and my mandarin is just level2, however due to the
patience and interest of my lovely Chinese Mongolian wife(who got me the
TV series as a birthday gift in 2003), I finally completed them and enjoyed them greatly.
I hope members of this forum interested in chinese history will find this
quite exciting , informative, philosophical, and also educational.
It changed my views of GK 180 degrees.
