As the holidays are aproaching, the Forum wants to celebrate its seccond succsesfull year by decorating one of its most valuable members. And whats more better way to do it than promote them to Vip membership status...:china: :china: :china:

So six members are to be promoted till the end of the year, and their names are given public at the christmass eve (or christmass day, whats suites your traditions best)

Also, all sort of other christmass-related discussion is welcome in here

Hold on... till the end of the year? Or starting from the end of the year... because if it's the former, then that's an awfully short promotion ^_^

On a side note, whatever happened to the "War on Christmas" this year?

Box set of your favourite TV series on DVD? Or a movie collection of some sort? I just loved getting Star Wars on DVD. :)

I know I don't! Not me know way! I've only been twice in my life and that was enough for me. It sucks. Wet, cold no Tv..no fun!! I was a teenager...

Hunting sucks too. Never did that. Hunting is not a sport. If the animals had guns or crossbows it would be a sport..Fishing is ok..but I'm not intrested...

Hunting is big in Iowa...these dumb rubes love to shoot bambi(deer). They also crossbow hunt...For what? Venison has that gamey taste I can't stand....yuck!!!

Sport shooting is cool..unless some rednecks are drunk and start shooting at anything....Bests place to go shooting is a shooting range.

What do I want for Christmas?? More Viagra!!!..I ain't kidding..I'm runnin' low. Only got enough for 13 more weeks....

What does popeye really want for Christmas?..Humm:confused:
Another house for my new wife..but she's gonna have to wait 'til the summer.

Ive never hunted, and have never really wanted to. My dad has been a few times but ever since he got shot at he never went again. Plus im from southern Wisconsin, most huntin is up north (aka the red neck part of the state). By the way i guess you figured out the ridlle in my location bar?

Hunting's pretty big in Michigan as well, from what I've heard... (I live in Ann Arbor, the subversive liberal city in the area so I wouldn't know)

Just finished my final exam for my first term of college a few hours ago, and will be travelling to St. Louis for the holidays, but a short trip since school starts again on the 3rd of January... curse Michigan and its short winter breaks. (And long-ass summer break)

Hey Zergling-I think that the Christmas hating liberals fled in terror after Stephen Colbert declared war on the war on Christmas. :D

BTW, I can say right now Planeman will get one of the VIP spots.

My IBM T-41 is quite old now, I wish to have a new Sony Vaio with Windows Vista and Khmer Unicode built-in. Windows XP SP2 does support Khmer Unicode, however there are still many bugs and I need to install it externally.

The winter breaks for K-12 are short here in Iowa. They get out this Friday and have to be back on the 2nd of January. I talked to my daughter in San Diego..she's a seinor in HS..and they are out this week, next week and have to return on the 2nd of january. Now that's a break!

Hmm, speaking of Cheney... actually the "liberal media" covered up what really happened on the day of the hunting "accident". Here's what actually happened.

I'd like to have some snow in the next day's though until Christmas there won't be any more coming down. From the 30th I go snowboarding for a week and even in the Alps there's hardly any, the hole wintersports worldcup seasons suffer from the lack of snow. It's simply to warm. And those Denver folks close their airport because of too much snow. Reopen it, put the snow into C-17 planes and airdrop it over the alps. That would be a realy usefull disaster relieve mission. :D
Btw Golly, how long are the days currently in Hame ? Or is anyone living further north than that ?

Gollevainen

days are short, as are the forecast for snow:mad:  :( :(
man, they should really stop polluting....

but anyway during this darkest part of the year, the day beguns around 9.00 AM and ends at 2.30 PM....

Hmm, I have one hour more at the front end, and two more on the back end of the day. You don't even have snow in Finnland ? Then wind seems to be all you have. As every year the start of the skijump season in Finnland was blown away as far as I know. :)
I hope in some years/decades there are still some glaciers left in the Alps ...

Gollevainen
12-21-2006, 04:25 PM
well there was snow...then it went way. I cannot remember when last time there was a snowless christmass. Actually today it snowed little bit, but its forecasted to melt before weekend.
But as for skiijumping, our team had have rather sloppy seasonal start...but lets hope for better next year:)

Well the time has come to annouche the winners...:)

These seven guys will have their promotions in this year as soon as admn. has time to work it out. The list is mainly set by us moderators and the criteria has been that these guys knows their stuff and have patience to and ability to improve the discussion and the level of it. Also, some of them have been around quite long and have missed in the past when we needed more moderators. I think next year we can do the same, so keep up the good work:china:
