For the Record Anglo Saxon was a German dialect, modern English however is a combination of Anglo Saxon, Old Gaelic, Old Norse and Norman French, all sprinkled liberally with High Latin and a bit of Greek.
I speak English and very bad Cantonese.

I can speak English and Mandrain fluently, but cannot write Chinese by hand very well. Fortunately there's the keyboard, hehee.
I also speak enough Spanish to get by in Mexico and not starve to death. Back in school I had the misfortune of taking latin, a very dead and useless language.

Nope. The Afghan dialect (Dari) is very different from our Farsi.
Is Dari related to Persian? 'Cause one of my very very ignorant friends thinks they speak Arabic...
Yes, it is very similar. It is generally considered that Afghanis speak Persian. The difference between the two are comparable to the difference between German German and Swiss German.
Yeah, many fools also think Iran is Arabic-speaking.

Wow, we have some very diverse people. :)
I speak English, Cantonese(Getting worse and worse...), some Mandarin, and 2 weeks of ultra-basic Spanish.
I thought Arabic was the Islamic language, spoken by those who are Muslim.....
The calls to pray are in Arabic.
Prayers, yes, but all Islamic countries don't necessarily speak Arabic. Farsi, Turkish, Urdu, English (in the case of African nations), etc. are all languages spoken in Islamic nations.
