Well that's not the WZ-2000 that's for sure, unless they've suddenly decided to go twin-boom with a pusher propeller. Might be a Chinese MALE UAV along the lines of the IAI Heron fullfilling a similar role to the Predator, but it's no jet high altitude long endurance type.

The fact that website claims it's WZ-2000 makes me chuckle though, have they not looked at the lefthand side of the pic????

This is their description:
The first blurred image of a WZ-2000 prototype was disclosed at the 2006 Zhuahi Airshow. Previously known as WZ-9, this multi-purpose stealth UAV has been under development at GAIC since 1999. Its stealth design features a fuselage with a flat bottom surface blended seamlessly with long swept wings to reduce RCS (<1m2 head-on). A single turbofan engine (WS-11) sits on top of the tail section with its intake shielded by the wing section and its exhaust nozzle shielded by two "V" shaped tailfins extending 30-40° outwards to reduce both radar and IR signatures
Now look again at the picture, it clearly has a pusher propeller and twin boom arrangement:

I doubt that either this or the WZ-2000 are truly stealthy, but they clearly incorporate RCS reduction design just as the Predator and Global Hawk do.

This design is interesting though. It's retractable landing gear suggest that it is quite large; at least as big as the IAI Heron. It's engine also appears to have two air intakes, one above and one below, implying relatively high altitude operating. The swept wings would also increase the stalling/loiter speed relative to other UAVs which is not a good thing, although they would increase transit speed which is. :coffee:

I can guarantee no one has seen this before. I get it from a korean military forum.

but anyway, this is rare picture, finally We got to see how J-10's cockpit looks.

it's much better than i've expected. All together 5 LCD monitors. People say the monitors are made by TCL. wow!

If the Chinese are making Mi-171 instead of the more advanced V5/V7, its probably due to cost and simpler construction. However, I do hope they install a ramp-type door instead of the original clam-shell design. An ECM package would also be nice.

If you look at the store management screen on the left side, it shows an aircraft with twin slanted tails; more likely it is proposed J-XX cockpit.

China are now producing J-11B with a variety of indigenous equipment. It is equipped with WS-10A turbofans, a wide angle holographic HUD, new KLJ series radar, Su-30MKK style IRST, and a glass cockpit. It can be armed with PL-12 and PL-8 AAMs.
