Hello Folks,
The forum software will be upgraded to the latest version on Sunday, September 11th 2005. The upgrade will eliminate some of the issues that some member's were having (posting replies, etc) and also take care of some other issues as well.
The forum may go off line for 5-15 minutes during the upgrade process.
Enjoy!

but now there're no pics from defence talk. i know i can just go to DT for them but i'm lazy.
also i do think we should change the theme once in awhile to this forum more interesting. although there's nothing wrong with the current theme i feel a theme rotation may be benefitial.
also the new infraction thingy is cool, i need to try that on someone. hehe

I will make sure that senior members, moderators, super mods and admins do not see any ads. ;) Give something back to the community. :D
All other features will be restored soon... such as DT pics, etc.

Made some other changes, introduced tabbed content (top of the pages) and logged in users see LESS ads than guests and over all cleaned up some of the clutter.

Looks weird..I guess I will get use to it. I can't see the list on the top of the page. You know members list, new post, search..etc..Also the page is even now wider..I can't see about an inch of the right side of the page no matter what I do.)-: Oh well

sorry, but I kind of find it hard to get adjusted to this new layout. The colours are a little strange for me.

Whats wrong with the colors?
bd, try now. The navigation bar is at very top, right side of the logo.

I think what is wrong with this, is that the sections arent narrowed and bordered adequatly. It seems like blank page with text and after few secconds of looking you start noticing that its forum of some sort...and still, lot of white and only little yellow...looks like we've run out of money or something...too cheap if you know what I mean.
WebMaster

Made some changes, not as much 'white' as it were before.
Also, keeping it simple seems to be the trend these days on the web as far as web design goes.

Ahhh its refreshing to have a change of layout :)
Thanks for your continuing efforts. May I suggest changing the yellow color of the bar between posts... it conflicts with the overall color scheme. Maybe a shade of blue or gray.

Would it be better to have a poster's user info appear on the left side of each post instead of on top? This would shorten page lengths considerably. I think it is a good general website design principle to minimize scrolling for users whenever possible.
In Internet Explorer, the top navigation bar is faulty if the user has set font size to "larger", as I have done.
In the picture resize bar, saying a digital image "weights 65KB" is not proper English in two ways. In any case, do we really need that info bar? Maybe it would be simpler to just put a noticeable border around any pictures that have been resized? It is more intuitive to click on the picture itself to enlarge it than a bar on top of it.

Please make the font sizes "medium" instead of 11px so that we can make them larger or smaller with IE browser.

Theme changed... that should take care of most of the issues. :)
You must have 1024x768 resolution...
Enjoy!
