That is pretty cool, kind of like the American Land Warrior system. I wonder if the Chinese will be able to mass produce that system.

Why would they wear the laptop on the front? does it also act as a very expensive body armor?

it's a guy, and a lot of camo around the world looks similar, could cause a problem for friendly fire. the eye piece look like the cell phones people wear on their ear, except on his eye.. anyone know what it's for?

that's a head-up display, a sight screen, call it like you want, it's design so the projection of the image in your eye make like if you had a full vision screen

wow.. that's sweet, but wouldn't that be bad for the eye?? since it's like radiation/light concentrated going straight at the eye. and it's got to be sensitive equipment, easy to damage, so won't be any good if it's in a rough environment or in bad weather even maybe...

well, sensitive, not really I think, those things were already develloped by IBM years ago as part of the future portable computer system, they should be at least water-proof and it's like glasses (are glasses shock-proof ??) The IBM model that I saw, was made entirely of plastic and projected a image using the optical wire technology.

I can see his point--if this is a guy he is a bit 'feminine' looking.

Well, a lap top will only be able to deflect weak bullets and from an extremely long range. But, American officers often bring lap tops with them on the front lines. It helps them communicate and allows them acess to GPS and sattelite imagery.

It's not going to be easy to type with that design though.
His left hand is used and his right hand got to deal with those cords.
But mobility wise, it is definitely better than carrying a laptop with your hands in the heat of battle.
