18 year old medical university student. Formerly redcastle. Interested in the land of my ancestors and its great history, culture, people and its military.
Its good to see sinodefence catching some fame. I'll check Pakistani defense too, and its great to see some diversity in the forums. Though we should keep mixing of military specs of other countries in a controlled state.
Cheers to the old sinodefence members and admins, especially eastwind for making this site. Except for vincelee

I also registered Dong Feng and SinoDefence Dongfeng to prevent them from being registered by others. Please do not send any private message to those IDs as I never log in with them.
Also Webmaster and I are two persons. He is the guy who kindly provided this forum and technical support for us. So don't get confused.

ya, engineering is pretty crappy. that's why all engineers love alcohol, and caffeine.
azn boy, if you speak cantonese, it's basically only good in LOCAL INFORMAL setting in the the province of guangdong. if it's a formal setting, everyone would be speaking mandarin, and no one understands it outside of guangdong. in chengdu, they have a sichuan dialect that's very easy to understand if you know mandarin. the idea is to learn mandarin, because it's the national language, and is used by everyone in china, cantonese is used by a small number of people.

The M3 really isn't tasked to be an IFV. The one dismount is a scout. The rest of the room in the back where the Infantry sits is taken up with radios and TOW racks.

dont worry Anz boy. if Uncle Sam dont want you, We want you. but the condition is you must have significant achievement and have real professional skills on your area. I am probably going to switch over to eletrical engineering next semester. Also, my hometown is Chicago.
By the way, within two weeks there is going to be a massive function at my university. Over 300 companies will come to offer jobs and internships. My hope is that the defense companies will offer me an internship since my knowledge about defense is quite good (when compared to the average person). Wish me luck.

Hi. I am crazyinsane105 and I am 18 (going to be 19 this September) and I am currently studying at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign as a mechanical engineering student (I am a freshman by the way).
Wish me luck.
good luck....
so you can swich your main degree in there??? Our system is bit queerer as only in "real" universityes you can do so...The place where i study...University of applied sciences at Hame...just learned the proper english term...well anyway we are sticked to the mainsubject, if you want to change it you have to go thru the application prosess all over again...

stop blame on BrotherofSnake, every one has right to choose what he dedicate for, everyone is not born to slavery for any countries. every ABC has been imprint with chinese since your born. the difference between your ABC's mind is that how much you have been inserted and intergrate with your inherent chinese culture, if u r above 50% believe to your inherent chinese culture, then you are loyal to your ethics, if u less 50%, then you will loyal to nationality. it really doesnt matter how nationalistic you are. :D

i agree with sumdud
though most people haven't really thought about this and just believe in what they're told, along with the strong meaning of the word traitor.
among the things politicians are teached to say when studying rhetorics and neural linguistics is the usefullness of words with strong and often emotional meaning (Traitor, Corrupt, Terrorist, Nazi, Coward, Commie, Radical and so on)
when talking about their opponent.
