It is not a double barreled launcher. The caption read, DF-11 missile transporting truck, holding 2 missiles.
This is a missile transport truck, not sure if it can directly resupply an TEL vehcile though.

http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/456/aan521062ho.jpg
What kind of aircraft is that? That wing is way too low to be JH-7 or any member of the Flanker family. It seems even lower than the FC-1. For the life of me, I can't think of anything else in the PLA inventory that would have a wing tip launch rail. And that uniform is from at the latest early 80s. Furthermore, those missiles are early production PL-2s. I don't know how long the PLA kept the original PL-2s around, but this picture could very well have been taken back in the mid 70s or earlier. I also looked up the old J-12, but it doesn't look like it had any tip rail. Any thoughts?

I think the answer to your question lies in the background... you see that plane? I think it's probably a trainer JJ-5?

It actually looks more like a JJ-6, but that's neither here nor there since, AFAIK, J/J-5/6 have no wing tip launch rail.

Maybe a J-13 prototype or mock-up?

The cancelled J-12 didn't have wing-tip pylons:

Nope. I ruled that out very early on since the J-12 seemed to fit the bill otherwise. But no wing tip rail. Unless they had a double secret probation, I mean prototype that had one.
Maybe a J-13 prototype or mock-up?
This plane would most defintely have to have low wing configuration. Otherwise, those are some very very tall Chinese loading the PL-2. ;)
btw, thanks for the J-12 picture. Clearly no wing tip launch rail.

I've never seen anything like that on a missile before. Perhaps it's testing equipemnt? Is that missile being carried by a J-8 test-bed?

What is the missile under the L-15's wing at Zuhai ?
http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/rids/20061031/i/r627808972.jpg
Looks like a new SRAAM with IR seeker and smaller wingspan which would be a hint towards internal stowage.
Are there any other pics of the L-15 there???????

Thanks, I agree the inboard missile looks like the TL-6A - I'd never heard of it :) For an anti-ship missile it's very small and short ranged, like a Sea Skua equivilent. Strange, I would have thought that the C-702 already meets this potential niche in the Chinese market. Shipboard helicopters and very small patrol/FAC craft seem more fitting launch platforms.
Sinodefence should have a page on this missile. :)

EDIT: As someone rightly pointed out, this is a Taiwanese HF-II AShM. My bad. But since it's a pretty picture, I'll leave it up.

I think TL-10A is just C-701/702 renamed or by a competiting factory trying to offer a similar product to the same market niche. There is a very thin line between TV guided antiship missiles and TV guided air to surface missiles, and I am guessing this is probably more of the latter.

Just a visual comparison, but I'm pretty sure that it isn't a version of the C-702. It's generally slimmer and probably lighter (which throws off the sinodefence page's estimated weight for the YJ-7).
Also, any info on the TL-6B? It looks fatter and has four different wings.
Re designations:
"TL" as in TL-10 means ???? -and is a manufacturer's label(?)
"JJ" is used for air-launched versions in Chinese service(?)
So a JJ-10 = TL-10 = YJ-10??? .... = C-100? / C-1000???

I didn't know that the Hsiung Feng (or really any missles, at least large ones or cruise missles) had the seeker off to the side like that. My technical knowledge pales in comparison to some of the others here on the forum....:o
