An Old NK Tub. If anyone can tell me what kind of boat it is, or if it is even North Korean, then it would be apreciated.

This is a very ineresting picture. The gun on the front turrent looks like a modified howitzer. It might function as a glorified version of the PT boat US used in vietnam war. , but I don't know. I imagine it would be more useful for fire support mission, but with only one gun? you need a hella lot of boat to get the job done!

Sorry to breake your illusion but that ship has nothing to do with norht-korea...
It's Soviet project 1204 Shmel class river patrolboat. The "modified" howitser is actually the turret from PT-76 light amph. tank and fields the same 76mm cannon...

Well, no need to get snippy. It was listed as a North Korean boat, and it was under a diffrerent language so I could not access it.
Pictures of the North Korean armed forces are harder to find than I thought they would be, give me a break here.
He's just correcting you on what you've found here. Who knows if Russia gave DPRK some of these? I hope this is clear enough. OK? ;)

No proplems, i didn't mean to sound too picky...just that you are not the first one mistaking this boat for Norht-korean one...I've have to correct it several times before this...
