I wanna try to start a online war game, a pseudo table top one with moderators doing the dirce rolls for us kinda thing does anyone have and good idea's for said war game? That could be done via posting on SDF.??

Been tried before,didnt work.Needs enormous ammounts of time just to start.

well last time we did wargames in here, it ended up that Finnish expenditiory force was palnnign to invade tawian from remote island captured from the Philiphines

You sure do like games, dont you?;)

Im not so sure about the dice thing, but wargames are certainly feasible. Im noy quite sure what happened to the last one. The game just dies down because taiwan was losing, and no one wanted to join to DPP side. This time, we should have a more equal situation(interesting, yet wont cause flammers).

Like I'm thinking of operating like a board game but playing via posting, like mvoing tank company A to position B, the mods will determine based off of the starting positions where they go and if they encounter the enemy.

It'ld be done completely by PM with the mods operating and determining it. Then when its done we report the whole thing on SDF, this would serve to simulate the fog of war, but for now I think we should try something via posting for now.

Well PM storages arent unlimited in here so guess it wouldnt be best solution...also With the moderators, people usually means Gollevainen, And I simply havent got the time to do that...and thats seems to be common sikness in rest of the mods here...

Haha I tried something like it during the start of this new forum.. but interest kind of fizzled and I was unable to find any "experts" to make such a game possible.
